Abu Dhabi heat has reached severe levels, with thickening cloud cover and scorching daytime temperatures peaking at 45°C. Authorities have classified the heat as extremely dangerous and are advising residents to remain indoors. Even at night, Abu Dhabi’s heat will linger, with temperatures expected to stay around 34°C under partly cloudy skies.
The National Centre of Meteorology (NCM) reports that today’s weather across the UAE will remain fair to partly cloudy. Convective clouds are likely to develop in eastern areas by the afternoon. There is a Chance of rain in Al Ain.
The UAE recorded its highest temperature on Monday at Mezaira in Al Dhafra, where the mercury soared to 48.7°C at 3pm.
Sea conditions remain calm, with slight waves reported in both the Arabian Gulf and the Oman Sea.
