Bangladesh vs Pakistan T20: Bangladesh Beat Pakistan by 8 Runs

Ban vs Pak 2nd T20: Bangladesh beat Pakistan by eight runs in Dhaka to secure the series 2–0. This historic win marks Bangladesh’s first-ever T20I series victory over Pakistan.

Bangladesh batted first and scored 133 runs in 20 overs. Jaker Ali was the top scorer with 55 runs from 48 balls. From pakistan, Salman Mirza taking 2-17 and Daniyal close behind on 2-23.

Pakistan crumbled early, losing five wickets for just 15 runs by the fifth over. Left-arm pacer Shoriful Islam was the standout, taking his best-ever T20I figures of 3-17 on a tricky Mirpur pitch.

Nevertheless, Faheem Ashraf mounted a strong counterattack, smashing a 32-ball 51 with four sixes and four boundaries. He added 41 runs with Abbas Afridi (13-ball 19) to keep Pakistan in the hunt.

Meanwhile, Rishad Hossain bowled Ashraf in the 19th over, and debutant Daniyal fell in the final over, as Pakistan were all out for 125 — 8 runs short.

Bangladesh’s strong start and tight death bowling outshone Pakistan’s fightback to seal the 2nd T20, winning the series at home.

Dhaka will host the final match of the series on Thursday.
