Dalai Lama Celebrates His 90th Birthday with International Honors and Heartfelt Ceremonies in Dharamshala

People around the world celebrated Dalai Lama’s 90th birthday in a spirit of respect, solidarity, and international awe. At the Dalai Lama Temple Complex in Dharamshala, thousands of devotees, dignitaries, monks, and supporters from all over the world gathered to commemorate nine decades of spiritual leadership.

The crowds gathered to honor the 14th Dalai Lama. People around the world respect him for his unwavering message of peace, compassion, and non-violence. Fled Tibet in 1959 and settled in India, making Dharamshala the center of the Tibetan diaspora. He has transformed over the past 60 years from a spiritual leader to a world-renowned figure, winning the Nobel Peace Prize and motivating millions of people from all walks of life.

His influence hasn’t diminished even at 90. Scholars site his lessons in academic settings. Leaders seek his guidance in political disputes. And his quiet yet meaningful laughter continues to bring peace to spaces.
