UAE Weather Alert Today: Rain and Cloudy Skies Forecast

UAE weather alert today brings more positive news for residents, as parts of the country that have already experienced rainfall in recent days may see more showers ahead.

The National Centre of Meteorology (NCM) has forecast rain for Thursday, July 17. The NCM expects the weather to stay mostly clear to partly cloudy, with convective clouds likely to develop—especially in eastern regions by the afternoon—which could bring rainfall.

Winds will be light to moderate, starting from the southeast and shifting to the northwest as the day goes on. At times, they may pick up speed and stir up some blowing dust during the daytime, with speeds ranging between 10 and 25 km/h, occasionally reaching up to 40 km/h.

The sea will remain calm, with slight conditions expected in the Arabian Gulf and the Oman Sea.
Across the UAE, the weather will be mostly sunny. In Abu Dhabi, temperatures are expected to peak at around 45°C, dipping to a low of 34°C overnight. Dubai will see a similar day, with highs reaching 44°C and lows around 35°C. Meanwhile, Sharjah can expect a high of 45°C and a low of 34°C.
