Dubai: The National Center of Meteorology (NCM) has released a fresh update in the UAE weather forecast, warning of dense fog expected to blanket parts of the country early Wednesday morning.
The alert, in effect from 3:10 AM to 8:30 AM, warns that summer weather may cause low visibility in western coastal and inland areas. The NCM urges residents to drive with caution and stay updated.
Dr Ahmed Habib, a meteorologist at the National Centre of Meteorology (NCM), said cooler northwesterly winds will bring a temperature drop of around 3 to 4°C on Wednesday, especially in Abu Dhabi. “Most coastal areas will feel the change, but the biggest drop will be in the western region, followed by other parts of the country, including Dubai.”
“We’re expecting a more active weather phase on July 25 and 26,” said Dr. Ahmed Habib, NCM meteorologist. “Southerly winds will move in, bringing more humidity and causing temperatures to rise — possibly reaching up to 49°C. Dust and sand are also likely to return.”
The UAE weather forecast shows a sharp rise in temperatures, especially in inland areas, which could see highs between 44°C and 49°C.
Humidity will rise on Thursday morning, especially in coastal areas.
Winds will keep the Arabian Gulf and the Oman Sea calm.
